Scribble Me Silly partners with shelters and transitional homes in Toronto to bring custom created art programs to its residents.
The workshops are developed by our Director of Programming together with guest artists. Guest artists of different backgrounds have delighted in sharing their talents with the kids. Each program features a different guest artist and theme. Our facilitators, guest artists and volunteer mentors work together to deliver the workshops.
With a massive range of talents in Toronto, our past workshops have featured dance, music, sculpting, improvisation, and art. We supply all of the art materials and costumes. Scribble Me Silly is proud to support our guest artists.

As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, we are no longer providing in-person workshops. However, we continue to bring fun and creativity to the kids virtually.
For the 2021 April break, we ran a week-long Art Party via Zoom for the kids at two shelter locations. Mixed media artist, Eli Shaw, joined Joanna and Alex. See the kids’ artwork on Instagram.
In December 2020, we delivered four (4) virtual workshops to our shelter partners. We also dropped off 100+ art supply kits to accompany the workshops. The art supply kits were funded by donors to our heART for the Holidays Go Fund Me campaign. Visit our YouTube channel to view the workshops.
